1. Introduction and scope
Recruzant HR Solutions LLP (“Recruzant”, “we”, “our” or “us”) respects your privacy and is committed to handling personal data responsibly, transparently and securely.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, share, retain and protect personal data when you visit our website, contact us, submit a hiring enquiry, share your resume or professional profile, apply for an opportunity, or otherwise interact with our services.
Recruzant provides specialized recruitment services focused on sales and related business development and go-to-market roles.
This Policy applies to website visitors, candidates, prospective candidates, client representatives and other business contacts whose personal data we process in connection with our website and services.
We handle personal data in line with applicable Indian law, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and its rules, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (the “DPDP Act”) and the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025, as their provisions come into force in phases. Where another law applies to particular data or activities, we follow that law.
2. Who we are
For the personal data described in this Policy, Recruzant is the organization that decides why and how the data is processed (the “data fiduciary” under the DPDP Act).

3. Personal data we collect
We collect only the personal data that is reasonably necessary for the purpose concerned. What we collect depends on how you interact with us.
3.1 From candidates
If you submit your resume, express interest in a role or take part in our recruitment process, we may collect:
- Your name, email address and phone number.
- Your city, state, country and preferred work location.
- Your resume or CV and professional profile.
- Your employment history, sales experience, skills, education and certifications.
- Your current or expected compensation, notice period, availability and job preferences, where relevant.
- Professional profile links you choose to share.
- Interview availability, feedback and recruitment-related communications.
Please do not send government identification numbers, financial account details, health information or other sensitive information unless we have specifically asked for it for a lawful reason.
3.2 From employers and business contacts
If you contact us about our recruitment services, we may collect:
- Your name, job title, organization, business email address and phone number.
- Your company website and hiring details, including job descriptions, sales team structure, role requirements, budgets and timelines.
- Business communications and enquiry records.
3.3 From website usage
When you visit our website, certain technical information is processed by us and by the providers that run the website, such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you visit, the date and time of access, and security and diagnostic logs.
3.4 From other sources
Where the law allows, we may receive professional information from:
- Professional information that individuals have made publicly available, for example on professional networking platforms.
- Referrals from candidates, clients or other professional contacts.
- Employers and their authorized representatives.
Section 6 explains how we handle personal data obtained in this way.
4. Why we use personal data
We use personal data only for lawful and relevant purposes, including:
- Recruitment: reviewing resumes and profiles, assessing experience against role requirements, matching candidates with suitable roles, contacting candidates about relevant opportunities, coordinating interviews, and managing feedback and follow-ups.
- Client services: responding to hiring enquiries, understanding recruitment requirements, introducing relevant candidates, coordinating interviews and managing our business relationship with clients.
- Website operation: running and securing the website, responding to enquiries, diagnosing technical problems and preventing spam, fraud and misuse.
- Legal and administrative needs: keeping business records, protecting our rights and systems, complying with legal obligations, responding to valid legal requests and establishing or defending legal claims.
We will not use your personal data for a new and materially different purpose without first meeting any notice or consent requirement that applies.
5. Notice, consent and lawful use
We aim to explain clearly, at the point where we collect personal data, what we collect and why. Where the DPDP Act requires your consent, we will ask for it in clear and plain language, for a specified purpose. Consent to one purpose is not treated as consent to unrelated purposes.
Where you voluntarily give us your personal data for a stated purpose, for example by sending your resume so that we can consider you for sales roles, we use it for that purpose. We may also process personal data on other grounds that the law recognizes, but only to the extent the law allows.
You can withdraw your consent at any time by emailing contact@recruzant.com. We will make withdrawal as easy as giving consent. Withdrawal does not affect processing done lawfully before it. It may affect our ability to keep providing some recruitment services, such as considering you for roles. We do not make access to unrelated services depend on consent to processing that is not necessary.
6. Candidate profiles and how we find candidates
When you send us your resume. We review it to assess your suitability for relevant roles. We may keep it, as set out in Section 9, so that we can consider you for future relevant opportunities.
When we find you ourselves. We may identify candidates from professional information they have made publicly available, or from referrals. If we contact you this way, we will tell you how we found your details and why we are contacting you. You can ask us to stop contacting you and to delete your details at any time, and we will do so.
Sharing with employers. We share your profile with a specific employer only after you have agreed to be considered for that opportunity, and we limit what we share to what is relevant to the role. Submitting a resume does not authorize us to distribute your information to unrelated organizations.
No guarantees. Recruzant does not guarantee an interview, a job offer, selection or employment.
Please give us accurate and current information. You can ask us at any time to update or delete your profile.
7. Who we share personal data with
We do not sell personal data. We share it only when necessary, relevant and lawful, with:
- Prospective employers and clients: relevant candidate information, as described in Section 6.
- Service providers (processors): providers that help us run our website and business, listed in Section 8. They process personal data on our behalf, and where required we use contracts and safeguards that cover how they handle it.
- Professional advisers: legal advisers, accountants, auditors and insurers, where reasonably necessary.
- Authorities: government or regulatory bodies where the law requires, or in response to a valid legal process.
- A buyer or successor: if our business is restructured, merged or transferred, subject to applicable law and appropriate safeguards.
Recipients and providers are not permitted to use personal data for unrelated purposes.
8. Cookies and third-party services on our website
Cookies and tracking. At the time of writing, we do not use advertising or marketing trackers on this website. If we add analytics or other non-essential cookies or similar technologies, we will update this Policy and obtain consent where the law requires.
Third-party services. To work, our website uses the following third-party services. Each may receive technical information such as your IP address and browser details when it is used:

You can manage cookies through your browser settings. Some features may not work if you disable them. Browser settings alone may not prevent all third-party data collection.
9. Retention and deletion
We keep personal data only for as long as it is reasonably needed for the purpose it was collected for, and as the law requires.
- Candidate profiles: while a recruitment process is active, and afterwards for up to 24 months from our last interaction with you, so that we can consider you for future relevant roles. We delete it sooner if you ask us to.

- Business and transaction records: for as long as legal, contractual, accounting or dispute-resolution needs require.

When personal data is no longer needed, we delete it or make it unusable, subject to legal retention requirements and technical limits. If a legal requirement stops us from deleting something you have asked us to delete, we will tell you.
10 Security and data breaches
We take reasonable steps to protect personal data from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, loss and misuse. These include limiting access to people who need it, using account permissions and access controls, using service providers with appropriate security arrangements, and keeping procedures for responding to security incidents.
No website, transmission or storage system is completely secure. Please do not send passwords, payment card details or government identification numbers through our website forms or by ordinary email.
If a personal data breach occurs, we will assess it, take steps to limit harm, and notify affected individuals and the authorities where the law requires.
11 Your rights
Under the DPDP Act, and subject to its terms and any lawful exceptions, you may:
- Ask for a summary of the personal data we process about you, the processing activities involved, and the identities of the other parties we have shared it with.

We will respond within the time the law prescribes. Where we cannot fully meet a request because of a legal requirement or exception, we will tell you why.
12 Grievances and complaints
If you have a concern about how your personal data has been handled, please write to us first:
Email: contact@recruzant.com
Subject line: Privacy Grievance
Please include a description of the issue and any details that help us look into it. We will review your complaint and respond within the time the law prescribes.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India as provided under the DPDP Act. Nothing in this Policy limits any right or remedy you have under law.
13 Children
Our website and recruitment services are intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data of anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us personal data, please email contact@recruzant.com and we will delete it.
14 International processing
Some of our service providers, including website hosting and technology providers, may process or store data outside India. Where personal data is transferred outside India, we follow the transfer rules and any restrictions that apply under law. We will not make a transfer that the law prohibits. You can contact us for more information about the providers that handle your data.
15 Marketing communications
We may contact employers, business representatives and other professional contacts about relevant recruitment services, subject to applicable law. Where consent or another requirement applies to marketing, we will meet it.
You can opt out of marketing messages by using the unsubscribe instruction in the message, where one is given, or by emailing contact@recruzant.com. We will still send messages that are necessary for an existing recruitment process, a service you requested, security or legal compliance.
16 Third-party websites
Our website links to third-party sites and platforms, including LinkedIn, Instagram and X. They have their own privacy policies and data practices. This Policy does not cover the data they collect, and we encourage you to read their policies before you give them personal data.
17 Changes to this policy
We may update this Policy to reflect changes in our practices, website, service providers or the law, including as the DPDP Rules come into force in phases. The updated version will be published on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Where the law requires, we will give you additional notice or ask for consent before changes take effect.
